We Are The Understory

The Understory is an evolving exploration of the porous edges between embodiment, ecology and creativity. Through events, community practice and resource sharing, we hope to build an entangled network of curious minds. 

We hope this project will show us new paths home to ourselves. Show us ways of remembering connection with land, community and our more than human kin. Of embodying the knowing that we ARE nature. 

We hope it will help us remembering how listen. To the voices that have fallen silent, the whispers of our bodies and the sensuous voices of all the animate beings of the earth.

We hope it will allow us to collectively weave new rituals for our times. By honouring timeless, land based practice, myth and art as a source of new ways forward. 

We dream of welcoming everyone around the fire, sparking wild ideas, feeding curiosity, burning away old layers. Of following the threads between soil, self and stars out into the future unknown.
